About Hidden Catch
Hidden Catch helps you spot hidden traps in a contract before you sign. It uses artificial intelligence to turn photographed or uploaded contract pages into a plain-English report with key clauses, direct quotes, dates, and money-related terms.
Quick Start
- Open Hidden Catch on your iPhone.
- Choose to photograph a paper or digital contract, or upload its pages.
- If you are scanning a full document, add up to 60 photos.
- Submit the document for analysis.
- Review the verdict, important clauses, direct quotes, key dates, and money-related terms.
- Use Ask Hidden Catch if you have a follow-up question about the document.
Quick Scan and Full Document Scan
Quick Scan: The free tier includes 3 Quick Scans per month.
Full Document Scan: Use this for a full contract. You may add up to 60 photos. Full Document Scans require payment.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Hidden Catch Pro is $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
To manage or cancel Pro, open Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone and select Hidden Catch.
Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.
Refunds
Apple handles App Store payments and refund requests. To request a refund, visit Apple’s Report a Problem page.
One-time top-up packs are non-refundable except when required by Apple policy or applicable law.
Referral program FAQ
What is my invite code? Each referral profile has a 6-character invite code.
Why does the app offer Sign in with Apple? Sign in with Apple is optional and exists only to give the referral program a real identity.
When is a referral counted? Hidden Catch uses completed first scans and purchases to grant referral rewards.
What is the reward? Rewards are promotional Regular Scans. They are free scan credits with no cash value. They are not payment for referrals and cannot be transferred.
Can I refer myself? No. Self-referrals and referral abuse are not allowed. Ktizo Labs may revoke promotional credits granted through abuse.
Data and privacy
Documents, photos, extracted text, reports, answers, and scan history are stored only on your device. Ktizo Labs’ backend never receives them.
To create a report or answer a question, extracted document text is sent through an intermediary processing service to a third-party AI analysis provider. The AI response is returned to the app. The document text is not stored on Ktizo Labs’ servers.
Do not scan a document if you do not want its text processed by external AI services. Read the full Privacy Policy for details.
Troubleshooting
Blurry or unreadable photos: Retake the photo so the contract text is clear and fully visible.
Too many pages: A Full Document Scan supports up to 60 photos.
Purchase is missing: Use Hidden Catch’s Restore Purchases option to restore purchases made through your Apple ID.
Still need help: Email Ktizo Labs and describe what happened. Do not attach a private contract unless you choose to share it for support.
